For 2022, to commemorate the Memorial of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue Memorial Royal Arms Half Sovereign Gold Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold featuring the new portrait of King Charles III.
Each of the 22 Carat Gold Sovereigns features on the reverse a special Royal Arms designed by Jody Clark to commemorate the Memorial of Queen Elizabeth II, together with the First Portrait of His Majesty, King Charles III by Martin Jennings on the obverse.
