In 2016, the Royal Mint released a very Limited Issue St George and the Dragon Gold Proof Half Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as PR69 DCAM.
Each of the 22 Carat Gold Proof Half Sovereign features the legendary St George and the Dragon reverse design by Benedetto Pistrucci, together with the special portrait of Her Majesty, The Queen, by James Butler on the obverse to mark the Queen's 90th Birthday.
