In 2014-I, for the first time in history, the Royal Mint, in conjunction with MMTC-PAMP, was granted by the Indian Government to strike a very rare Limited Issue St George and the Dragon Gold Half Sovereign Coin struck in solid 22 Carat Gold with a special Mint Mark "I" for India Certified Slabbed and Graded by PCGS as MS69.
Struck to Royal Mint's immaculate Bullion Uncirculated quality and depicts on the reverse Pistrucci's St George Slaying the Dragon, while the obverse features the stunning portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank Broadley.
